Job Responsibilities

ICAP, the national professional and regulatory body for the accountancy profession in Pakistan, is seeking an accomplished finance leader to join its Executive Leadership Team as Chief Financial Officer. One of Pakistan's most prestigious institutions, ICAP's members serve at the highest levels of finance and business across the globe.

This is an opportunity to steward the finances of a national institution, safeguarding its long-term sustainability, modernising its financial systems, and setting the standard for governance the profession itself upholds. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the CFO will be the principal financial advisor to the Council, the Executive Committee, and related Committees.

The Mandate:

  • Set and execute the Institute's financial strategy as principal financial advisor to Council and Committees, translating strategy into long-term sustainability.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash flow, and investment management across the Institute's reserves, endowment, and designated funds.
  • Own the integrity of financial reporting, accounting operations, taxation, payroll governance, and statutory compliance.
  • Strengthen governance through internal controls, enterprise risk management, audit coordination, and procurement oversight.
  • Drive finance digital transformation, ERP optimisation, process automation, and modernisation of financial systems.
  • Lead a high-performing Finance function and manage relationships with banks, auditors, regulators, and investment advisors. 

Job Specifications


Who We're Looking For:

  • An ICAP Member with at least 10 years' post-qualification experience across finance, accounting, treasury, planning, budgeting, taxation, and investment management.
  • At least 4 years in a senior finance leadership role owning organisational financial strategy and governance.
  • A proven track record in financial reporting, statutory compliance, treasury, external audits, stakeholder management. ERP-enabled operations, and
  • Experience reporting to Boards, Audit Committees, or Executive Committees is a strong advantage.
