Job Responsibilities
- Provide proactive support to Head of the department on technical financial reporting matters and projects;
- Prepare papers, presentations, and publications on different topics of financial reporting through extensive research and analysis;
- Coordination and interaction with the Accounting Standard Board (ASB), regulators, IASB, and other standard-setters and bodies; and
- Serving as a primary liaison with the advisory group and other working groups of ASB.
Job Specifications
- A Chartered Accountant (ICAP Member) with at least 05 years of postqualification experience.
- Expertise in analyzing financial reporting and accounting issues and interpreting IFRS Standards and other financial reporting frameworks. Experience and ability to prepare and deliver technical papers and presentations. The candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholder groups with diverse views.
Skills Required
- Ability to work independently, take initiatives and direct others.
- Managerial experience of firms’ audit or financial advisory service line would be beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving, drafting/report writing, communication and management skills
